- The Mont Fleur scenario project from 1992 (looking towards 2002) is perhaps the most successful and famous in the world, due to the role ascribed to it in creating a peaceful transition from Apartheid to democracy in South Africa. Here is an article summarising the project.

Barents Russia 2015
- This is a research-based scenario project looking at the future of the Russian Barents Sea region in the North of Europe - a former hotspot of Cold War rivalry and armament, home of some of the richest fish stocks in the world, as well as a wide range of other natural resources. The region is emerging as a petroleum region of global significance - which may change its future drastically.
