Pioneers of Change – Cultivation Team Renewal Applications 2008/2009
Dear Pioneers,
We are selecting a new core team to host the Pioneers of Change Network. Please consider joining the Cultivation Team!
The current CT comes to an end at the end of March 2008. Working in this global team is a remarkable, challenging and worthwhile experience offering wonderful learning and many opportunities to grow and serve an ambitious and dynamic network. The network is still in a transition phase into a new level of maturity, and in 2008 we will celebrate it's 10th anniversary with an intergenerational dialogue. This offers a great chance for further growth and re-connection between old and new members.
We are inviting you to step forward and join the CT in a specific role by sending an email to cultivation@lists.pioneersofchange.net , by February 10th, with the answers to the following questions:
Why would you like to join the Cultivation Team?
What role(s), based on the descriptions below, do you want to play? If someone else is selected for this role, are there other roles you would consider?
What is the commitment that you can make? Please note that the commitment may be as much as 4-9 hours a week, depending on the role. Please be clear about what is realistic for you and state what you are and are not willing to commit to.
The CT is a global team that cultivates, governs and supports specific operations for the network globally. CT members serve from where they are based and connect with each other through virtual and probably at least one physical meeting throughout the year. Please feel free to talk to any of the current CT members, Maria, Lesley, Cristina, Jens or Mark, at cultivation@lists.pioneersofchange.net about their experience this year. The CT counts on mentoring from the Board and previous CT members throughout the year.
The CT requires people to fulfill the following roles. Depending of the applicants and the team-fit the role's tasks might be adapted. Each topic is based on last year's experiences combined with inspirational ideas from the recent PoC gathering in Brazil:

It documents learnings and encourages people to harvest learnings in handbooks and good practices. This role includes the welcoming and introduction of new members. This role has tight interfaces with the Host of hosts and network developer regarding the levels of engagement and with the virtual collaboration officer for online tools.
