It is a celebration of community, and the spirit of Africa.
It takes place against a backdrop of a country in decline. Despite – or perhaps in light of this – we will seek to share that which still gives us hope during these difficult times for Zimbabwe at Kufunda, and beyond.
We are calling it a learning journey because we believe that there is much to learn from the experience of being together in community, and in nature, and being in appreciation of what is working and what is possible.
We will spend time together at Kufunda living the life of the village, and getting more of a sense of Zimbabwe today. After this initial settling in, we will go on a trip to a rural community, and then out into the wilderness of the African bush, and Victoria Falls.
