Adaptive Edge
Nicole-Anne ("Nicole") Boyer's career has been devoted to creating better futures for people, organizations, and the places we all live in. In 2004, after leaving Global Business Network, http://www.gbn.com, a pioneering futures think tank in San Francisco, Nicole started Adaptive Edge based in Paris. Adaptive Edge is a consulting firm devoted to helping organizations across sectors develop better strategic foresight, innovation capabilities, and a longer view of the contextual change we're experiencing, These capabilities will help organizations be more resilient and adaptive during this uncertain time of flux and transition. Unlike most consulting firms which purport a neutral and detached stance towards their clients' problems and issues, Adaptive Edge engages with clients who also want to create more sustainable models and approaches for a better world. To do this strategically, Adaptive Edge has a portfolio of work that engages both:
- Top down actors (large companies, governments, multilateral agencies, some NGOS) in wisely and successfully managing the transitions and challenges ahead because these organizations have the resources and influence to accelerate a more sustainable pathway forward;
- Smaller bottom-up agents of change (social entrepreneurs, social networks, NGOs, innovators, individual thinkers and doers) who are catalyzing and incubating new members, innovations, and experiments that increase the density of options and alternatives for a better future.
